| The Really Useful Software Company was formed as a result of ‘kindred spirits’, recognising that their collective talents were greater than the sum of the individuals. |
| We had written some ‘Really Good Software’, that was being used successfully by a number of local users, each of whom had paid a fraction of what it cost us to write – the normal problem with software development! |
| How could we bring it to a bigger market and at least get back what it had cost us to write? ‘That was the Question’, to corrupt a famous Shakespearian phrase. |
| Our experience of designing commercial software systems stretches back over 30 years, and encompasses several titles that were relatively internationally successful prior to the ‘Age of the Internet’. Our web design is founded on a graphics design background that has a similar pedigree. I hope you like its fresh approach, it is our brochure, not a drab maze, probably because it is not big enough to be a ‘maze’ yet, but we are working on it! (I am sure you know the sort of web site I am referring to – once you get in you wonder how you are ever going to get back out with the information you need and your sanity intact). |
| All our systems are extensively tested and have been widely used on a localised basis prior to offering on the Internet. |
| We do not offer ‘demo systems’, because it would cost a considerable amount more to implement time based demos. That is why we offer these products at such realistic prices. All of our software products ‘DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL DO ON THE LABEL!’ |
| Any system we offer that is financially based (or date/time), will ascertain, on the first time you run it after downloading, what your regional and country settings are and adjust its currency attributes etc. accordingly. Warning – if your regional or keyboard settings are wrong then the set up will be wrong, but don't worry, you can run ‘setup’ again from an internal menu. |
| When you buy, you will be buying from professionals who value the importance of an ‘up and working system’. We are professional designers, producers, suppliers, and all your emails/phone calls, will be answered within 24 hours. If you have a genuine grievance, we will refund, but at the discretion of the company. We want happy customers, not refunded non users! A genuine grievance is that the product does not do what we say it will do. If there is an error in the programme, we will give you a realistic ‘fix time’, and if we do not achieve the ‘fix’ in that period of time, we will refund without question. |
| We are also interested in ‘tailoring the software’ more specifically to your requirements. Again, telephone or email us for a quotation. We will need a detailed specification in order to quote you a fixed price. |
| We are also always interested in other software applications that we can market through our site, but be warned, we have extremely exacting standards, not only in terms of the quality of the product we advertise, but in all aspects of the products perception. |
